Vega Drake

Vega Drake Carlsson is an artist, designer, singer and scenographer and costume designer from Stockholm.  Based in Norway.

Educated within bachelor level in Interior architecture and furniture design and Master in Theater, with specialisation in scenography in the school “Oslo National academy of the Arts”.

Vega is committed and interested in in shape, material, meaning, time, senses and sound.

 

Since childhood, Vega has been embraced with art and music, and also encourage with attempting art and crafts schools by friends and family. During one school to another, a bigger need of investigation of materials within objects, space and costumes.

The drawing, as a method has always been part of the designprocess. And is the connecting link in between the different material choices for investigation.
